Wild Rivers Motorlodge

The room was simple and basic, but the price was righ,t and it had everything that I needed, coffee and coffee pot, microwave, refrigerator, hair dryer…. It was chilly in the room when I arrived but the in-room heater warmed the room up quickly. I slept well, so the bed was comfortable. It was a convenient walk around the corner to a good restaurant for dinner. The young man who checked me in and out was efficient and kindly answered some local questions. My only suggestion would be to replace all the disposable, single use items with refillable shampoo, soap, conditioner… and real coffee cups, to help reduce plastic waste. Thank you.

This was my second stay at Wild River Lodge, and for the price and location it’s a great deal. The staff here are amazing—super friendly and helpful. I booked for two nights, and the first room I had was a standard double. It wasn’t bad overall, but the beds were really firm and there was no AC. It got pretty warm, so we ended up having to keep the door open at night to get some cool air in. The next day, I went to the front desk and asked if it was possible to switch to a room with AC. They got me into another room immediately, and I was honestly amazed at how quick and accommodating they were. The new room was perfect—the beds were much more comfortable, the AC worked great, and my family and I had a really good night’s rest. I’ll definitely keep booking here. The staff go above and beyond to make sure guests are taken care of, and that makes all the difference. Tip: ask for a premium or family room—they’re way better than the standard ones!

We booked two nights, so we could go see the HOLIDAY LIGHTS…I brought my 1 daughter, mom, auntie, 2 sisters, & my niece..and we enjoyed it just as the rooms were roomy, clean, the beds were very comfortable. My daughter and I stayed here last year (2024) for Holiday Lights and I told the front desk I was coming back with more family this year..And I would differently stay again at WILDRIVER S MOTORLODGE. Great old timey u-shaped motel that you can park right next to your door. All but two rooms are ground floor. Fridge, microwave, and coffee maker are provided. Internet is fast and easy to hook up but DON’T try to log on to WildRivers. Read the directions. Clean and quiet. Nearby eating establishments within an easy walk. Perfect for a group of Corvette owners looking for a place to stay on their Pacific Coast ride.

This little hotel is older but very well taken care of. Clean, comfortable and the grounds are very nice. Wi-Fi worked fine, pet friendly and has a grassy spot behind for their business. I would definitely stay here again.

Comfy, cozy, clean, beautiful morning sunlight, large bay windows, view of ocean. This place is obviously older but has been updated well. The service was nice and to the point. It was very quiet and no one bothered us. Conveniently located next to the harbour and the mouth of down town. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Really comfortable room with comfortable beds. Good number of outlets and lights available, coffee machine worked well, everything was clean, plenty of towels. Close to highway 1 but we were pleasantly surprised that noise wasn’t a problem. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great price for the accommodations. Walkable to a few restaurants and a cute older section of town. Very simple and clean rooms. There were a couple super minor asthetic things upon check in, but nothing to cry about. I did let the staff know when I checked out. The manager or owner was super nice and helpful when I checked out. He even gave me a box and printed a shipping label for me at no cost, so I could ship something in town. I felt safe and secure. I would 100% go back.
